Part-Time Job Opportunity: September 17, 2020

We are currently looking for additional staff to support our public re-opening process, enforcing facility-specific COVID protocols and screening.

Some notes about the role:

  • Evening/weekend availability is required.
  • First point of contact for facility visitors.
  • Manage all aspects of check-in process.
  • Assist with overseeing building activity.
  • Work with internal teams to keep facility safe.

Welcome Back to the Rink: September 10, 2020

First and foremost, we hope you’re staying safe. We wanted to reach out to let you know that we’ve begun our transition to a public re-open!

We’ve released limited blocks of spot rental ice times throughout the remainder of September. Our online system is not currently activated, as we need to manually enter and coordinate all rentals at this time.

Seasonal contract requests are not yet being accepted.

Facility requirements to be aware of:

  • You must have an appointment or booking prior to entering the facility.

Inside the Bubble: August 25, 2020

By now, you likely already know that our facility is being utilized by the NHL with Toronto being a hub city for the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

As a result, we’ve been completely closed off to the general public. Which has made it impossible for you to see what is actually going on in our building at this time. Until now.

The NHL has released a behind the scenes video, showing some of the day to day operations within their Toronto and Edmonton practice facilities.

Facility Update: July 15, 2020

First and foremost, all of us here at the Ford Performance Centre hope that you and your loved ones have been staying safe during these times.

As you may be aware, the NHL has selected Toronto and Edmonton as hub cities for their Return to Play plan. Our facility is included amongst those that are being utilized by the league.

We wanted to provide an update to help avoid confusion. Our building is still closed to any public access at this time and until at least October 2020.
